These questions were written to be asked in Toronto on 2023-07-10,
and should be interpreted accordingly.
On each question you may give up to two answers, but if you give
both a right answer and a wrong answer, there is a small penalty.
Please post all your answers in a single followup to the newsgroup,
based only on your own knowledge. (In your answer posting, quote
the questions and place your answer below each one.) I will reveal
the correct answers in about 3 days.

Given the description, identify the cocktail. All answers are from
the list of cocktails eligible for the International Bartenders

an Irish cream, and a triple sec. When prepared properly,
the ingredients separate into three distinctly visible layers.
2. A popular version mixes equal parts vodka, gin, tequila, rum,

giving this drink its characteristic amber hue.
3. This cocktail consists of five ingredients: white rum, sugar
(traditionally sugar cane juice), lime juice, sparkling water
and mint.
4. This cocktail is a mixture of Prosecco sparkling wine and
peach purée.
5. This cocktail is made by mixing Drambuie and Scotch whisky.
6. This cocktail is made with fresh orange juice and vodka.
7. This sweet cocktail is classically made with vodka, coffee
liqueur, and cream, served with ice.

uses tequila, crème de cassis, lime juice, and soda water;
but the more popular concoction contains tequila, orange juice,
and grenadine syrup.
9. This cocktail is made with gin and vermouth, typically garnished
with a pickled onion.
10. This cocktail is made by muddling dissolved sugar with bitters
then adding alcohol, such as whiskey or brandy, and a twist of
citrus rind.
* Game 8, Round 6 - Sports - Wimbledon
During the original game, this year's Wimbledon championships were
in progress; they were held from July 3 to 16. For questions #1-4,
if the answers changed during the tournament, I'll allow you to
give either the old or the new answer, but you must say which one
you are giving.
1. Who is the reigning Gentlemen's Singles champion?
2. Who is the reigning Ladies' Singles champion?
3. With a total of 8 championships, which man has the most
Gentlemen's Singles titles?
4. With 9 championships between 1978 and 1990, which woman has
the most Ladies' Singles titles?
5. Wimbledon is hosted by the All England Club, whose full name
references two sports. One of those sports is lawn tennis;
what is the other?
6. Wimbledon has many traditions, including white outfits for
the players, an 11 pm curfew -- and the consumption of which
food combination?
7. Since 1902, which sporting goods manufacturer has sponsored
Wimbledon, making it the longest such sponsorship in the world?
8. In 1968, for the first time, Wimbledon allowed which kind of
players to participate?
9. In the singles competitions (either Gentlemen's or Ladies' --
the numbers are the same), how many players participate in the
first round? (Not the qualifier matches, which occur earlier.)
10. The most important matches at Wimbledon occur on which court,
distinguished by its Royal Box and retractable roof?
and should be interpreted accordingly.
